Olsen/Lind Wedding Album Completed!

Presenting to you Jeffrey and Rebekah Lind. Married July 25, 2009 at Chief Hosa Lodge in Colorado. This is a uniting of Jeff with Rebekah and her two boys Kaleb and Luke. Beautiful outdoor wedding at an old stone and log cabin lodge.
The opening page was wording specified by the bride, Rebekah Olsen Lind. She wanted to signify the joining of Jeffrey with her small family which includes her and her two boys.

This album has a rustic yet elegant look to it. I catered it to fit the day in which the couple had planned on having with very close family and friends.

Journal Page for the Bride and Groom to tell their story

Fits 2- 4X6 photos in the mattes
Intimate details of the day the Groom proposed
2- 4X6 photos of the very special day of proposal

The ribbon page is designed to add loose items such as invitations, napkins, or other momentums that you would like to save but do not want to glue or tape down.
The New Couple after the ceremony Photo, Fits a 5X7 photo

This album includes 24 completed finished pages formatted for the recipient to add photos of their special day. It is a general album with pages to highlight those special moments. Personalizing the album to fit the couples day is the purpose of these albums. All albums have matting that is designed to fit a photo 1/4inch smaller than the smallest matte within the frame. They are designed for photos to be cropped and fitted appropriately.

This was a fun album to do. It was not a traditional wedding but it still had most of the parts a traditional wedding has. I have a basic format for the 24-25 page albums and they generally run about 250$ not including the album. Additional Pages are extra but if you order an album I will discount depending on the number of extra pages you would like.

Thanks for looking!

Grand Ol' Ideas!

When I am not scrapbooking, cleaning my house, taking care of my family or just trying to make time for me I am thinking! I am usually brainstorming about things that need to get done and how can I make more time in the day for these things to get done! However, I am often spinning my wheels thinking of ways to make my work more affordable to the mass public but with the same quality of work! This is where the Economically Friendly Baby books come from. Scrapbooking is a joy but it takes a lot of work and a lot of ideas from those that are creating the pages. This is where I find that most people get to the "I am just going to give up" point in scrapbooking their memories. I know it can be frustrating to feel uncreative.

I was just chatting with a friend today about my business and she invited me to a special event for Women in Business. This is being put on by the Mary Kay Consultants here in the Spokane/Coeur D'Alene Area. I signed up to be a part of it to get to know a different group of women and to promote my business. I get to have a complimentary facial and makeup workup along with a photo taken and a feature in I guess a newsletter that circulates amongst the Mary Kay Consultants and their clientel. So this is a great opportunity. Anyway, Katie, my new Mary Kay Consultant and friend was telling me that she thought my work was more than just scrapbooking but a "Work of Art," A design......and that my format is unique and special in its design! I love this because it truly is a little different from your average scrapbooking. So, I look forward to meeting with Katie and all her other Colleagues at the Women in Business Event on Friday!

Economically Friendly Baby Albums

It has been sometime since I posted, but I have been working on trying to make albums more affordable. I am hoping to reopen my Etsy Store just as soon as I have enough products to display there. The difference between the Economically Friendly Baby Album and the Custom Albums is basically the album will be One color paper and there will be little to no matting done on each page and embellishments will be few! These are all things that drive the price of an album up because it takes more time to create the page. I will still personalize pages but this too will be limited. The economically friendly baby albums will be a flat fee of $50 not including an alubm. If you would like to purchase an album in addition to the pages it will be an additional fee of $15, which is what the albums cost at Michaels! I am not making any profit by providing you with an album. Albums will be generic and color will be your preference. This an example of what an eco-friendly album will look like. This is still a rough idea! But it will be similiar!
