Hang your calendar each month and add current pictures

So, in my last post you saw the calendar the way it use to be, but in 2008 I made a calendar with a clipboard and a hanging calendar page below the clipboard! Laminating your calendar pages allows you to reuse the calendar pages each year, or at the end of the year you can order more pages from me! I personally enjoy writing on my calendar, milestones, activities, special events.....they help me to get my other scrapbooking projects completed! And I remember those events a lot more clearly. For example: I am working on my 19 month olds baby book and I use my day planner and my calendar to go back and complete the pages for his first year. I am almost half finished but I know that I have a record and can pick the album up anytime and finish it because I have the records written down.

Calendars Evolved!

My daughter is now almost 7 years old and I have not missed one month since she was 1 1/2, scrapping her monthly changes, her brother's monthly changes, and he is now 5 and my youngest has also been a part of this wonderful way to cherish a memory! I just chose a few pages from this awesome "Mary Engelbreit Calendar!" When she stopped making this calendar in 2006 I was DEVASTATED!!!! What was I going to do? So, I started my own....not quite as pretty as these but it was just fine! I have fallen in love with my calendar and rarely am I late doing my page for the month. I look forward to recording the memories, good, bad and fun and ugly and messy! They are all terrific memories.....

It is awesome to go back and see the changes in my kids! And I am amazed at how the years have passed. Many moms who have children who are grown and in college probably look at scrapbooking as something that is so far

from something they could challenge themselves to do! I tell you, the

moments in time are passing us by now, as I
type these very words and it is NEVER too late to begin. I know you have pictures in that closet of your that you just don't even know where to begin! Well, just take an hour maybe a week and find a moment to cherish that picture. After all, someone took the time to take it! And Why did they take this picture if it was going to sit in a box where the story isn't being told. I have a simple solution! The calendar you see above is discontinued but I have made a calendar that you can make yourself. I provide all the materials! You just have to take 1 day, a couple hours a month. Put 2 or 3 pictures on the card stock and add some stickers and captions of what you did that day or for the month as a family and you have made a cherished memory! Need some help? I will make the pages for you! The cost is low! I have kept it low for a reason! I want everyone to share their family! So leave a comment, email me and I can HELP you get started making a memory 1 page, 1 month at a time!! BABY STEPS!!!! Enjoy your day!

Lagging behind.....BUT!

My Husband and I

Hello to all of you have just joined my pages of blogs! This is by far the easiest way for me to publicly show my audience what I do. I don't even begin to touch on what I CAN do here. I have been scrapbooking for over 8 years now. My mother in law introduced me by buying me some supplies. Those supplies turned into a love that I can't even begin to describe to you. Scrapbooking is my time to unwind and relax after a long day with my kids. I especially love to scrapbook my childrens lives and make memories with photos. It is all about telling the story. I simply enjoy creating a page for those of you that want to make memories but don't find time, or it is just another "stress" in your life. So please, let me know what I can do to help you out! I do have a pretty booked up calendar that is really going no where at the moment due to a very important home improvement project that we are trying to complete. But I would love to chat with you and get to know what your ideas of scrapbooking are and mean to you! Scrapbooking is more than a hobby to me, it is truly preserving the memories and moments of a time that passes very quickly. Capturing the moments through pictures and words can be of the utmost importance to your family! Let's face it, as we get older our memories tend to disappear and we forget things. But if we tell stories like they did way back at the beginning of time...then we can hold onto those memories. So, sit back and peruse my site. I haven't even begun to touch on what I can do for you here...this is just the start.....skies the limit! By the way, there are no rules when You/Me scrapbook! So, don't be shy, jump in and join in!
